LGBTQ+ Lorain County is pleased to offer this community SafeZone Training which is free and open to all. The full course is 3 hours with a break offered halfway through. Pizza and refreshments will be provided compliments of our host, Kendal at Oberlin.
SafeZone is an opportunity to learn about LGBTQ+ identities, gender and sexuality, and examine prejudice, assumptions, and privilege. The workshop will also give you a better awareness and understanding of the LGBTQ+ community and how to be an effective ally as well as provide legislative updates currently affecting the LGBTQ+ community. This is a safe place to ask questions and get resources for further education.
The training is free, but advanced registration is required. We hope to see you there!

We are so thankful to everyone who helped us put on an amazing Pride celebration in Lorain County. It was our biggest Pride ever, and we could not have done it without the help of so many people, including all those who showed up to enjoy the events.
Thank you to our board members, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, partners, performers, and attendees. It was truly so heartwarming to see all of us come together to share in some queer comradery under the June sun.
